Weave-able Plant Spotting @ Twin Ponds Park

  • Twin Ponds Park 16501 N 155th Street Shoreline, WA United States (map)

Come explore one of my favorite North Seattle parks for spotting weave-able plants - in this one small park there are at least a dozen different weave-able species! We’ll take a stroll around the park, ID plants, and discuss common habitat, harvest, prep and weave-ability.

WE ARE THERE TO LOOK AND LEARN - no harvesting. It is unlawful to harvest plants from Shoreline or Seattle City Parks.

Group size max: 15 explorers (minimum of 10 must RSVP) *This is not an ideal activity for small kiddos - under 10ish - probably pretty boring for them.

We will meet at the north end parking lot accessed off of 1st Ave NE and runs parallel to NE 155th St. This is a popular park so plan accordingly when looking to park - there may not be parking space at the meet-up spot.

Special sliding-scale pricing available for this gathering…please select what makes the most sense for your life at this time. I try to respect the seasonality of all things including in ourselves and that means sometimes life feels abundant and in other times it doesn’t. I want to share some of the joy I have for weaving and wild crafting and hope this allows you to join regardless of the season you are currently in. With love - Erin

Registration is NON-REFUNDABLE. However, if you want to sell or give your spot to a friend, I’m happy to welcome someone else in your place.
