June 16th - Plant Spotting @ Twin Ponds Park

$0.00

Come explore one of my favorite North Seattle parks for spotting weave-able plants - in this one small park there are at least a dozen different weave-able species! We’ll take a stroll around the park, ID plants, and discuss common habitat, harvest, prep and weave-ability.

WE ARE THERE TO LOOK AND LEARN - no harvesting. It is unlawful to harvest plants from Shoreline or Seattle City Parks.

Group size max: 15 explorers (This is not an ideal activity for small kiddos - under 10ish - probably pretty boring for them.)

We will meet at the north end parking lot accessed off of 1st Ave NE and runs parallel to NE 155th St. This is a popular park so plan accordingly when looking to park - there may not be space at the meet-up spot.

This is a pay-what-you-can learning opportunity. Suggested cash donation at the gather - $10 per person.

RSVP REQUIRED

*Plan to meet-up at 7pm but you can step out any time. We’ll explore for an hour-ish and then have time for more Q&A.
