SPECIAL GUEST TEACHER & 3- DAY WORKSHOP

Join the Journey of Eco-Printing @ Seattle’s First Full-Process Workshop

I’m thrilled to be hosting Atenas, founder of Scarabajo! Her creativity and love for natural dying/eco-printing is inspiring and infectious. She believes that every leaf holds a story, and every imprint is a memory captured in time.

Now, for the very first time in Seattle, you’re invited to experience the entire eco-printing process — from nature’s hands to your own. This 3-day workshop offers a hands-on, heart-led exploration of eco-printing guided by Atenas.

Workshop Schedule:

  • Friday 27th from 6pm to 8 pm

  • Saturday 28th from 10am to 1 pm

  • Sunday 29th from 10am to 11:30 am

Why three separate days? Each distinct step requires time for the materials to rest & process. There’s no rushing this beautiful slow craft. It’s worth the wait!

What you’ll experience:
Learn the essentials of mordanting - preparing cellulose/plant fibers to accept dyes
— Discover how to choose the right leaves for vibrant, lasting prints
— Explore two eco-printing techniques
— Create your own prints with intention, curiosity, and care
— Enjoy small group guidance to nurture your unique artistic voice
— All materials included — just bring your hands, your journal, and your heart

TAKEAWAY PROJECT: A 100% organic cotton, naturally hand-dyed, completely unique GORGEOUS scarf! (70 inches by 29.5 inches)

This workshop is for those who feel the call to create with nature — artists, dreamers, and anyone ready to invest in a practice that’s slow, meaningful, and deeply alive.

Workshop Fee: $250 (honestly a steal!)

Max Students: 8
