 About your presenter:

Steve Lospalluto and his wife Katherine Lewis have a small farm in the Skagit Valley near Mount Vernon. They started their business in 1990 growing and selling organic produce at farmers markets and to restaurants. In 1994 they moved to the Skagit and began to grow willow along with everything else.

Katherine improved her basketry skills and has been selling her work for over 20 years. Steve is responsible for growing the willows for Katherine’s baskets and classes. He started selling willow cuttings in 2007 which has spread many of the varieties they are growing across the country.
