Come try your hand at making willow wands! They make great gifts for all the magical people in your life. :)

Each participant will receive a bundle of willow rods ready to weave and personal instruction. Take home everything you make - enough to throw a magical willow party!

Minimum Age: 8 with supporting adult*

*Child + Supporting Adult = 1 ticket (you will share your supplies and register as 1 participant)

Teacher: Marcy Johnson - textile artist and basket weaver. Marcy owned, worked, and taught at the Weaving Works, Seattle for 50 years. Now retired she has time to weave, knit, spin, make baskets, books and jewelry.

Workshop registration is NON-REFUNDABLE. However, if you want to sell or give your spot to a friend, we’re happy to welcome someone else in your place.

WINTER WEATHER DISCLAIMER - Hosting an event in February in the PNW comes with some weather risk. If Sky Nursery is open, the event will proceed as planned. If the workshop teacher is unable to attend due to weather, students will be notified by email and receive a full refund. If you live in a snow prone location please note this disclaimer before registering.

WEAVING IN THE GREENHOUSE - The Sky Nursery Greenhouse is typically 10-15 degrees warmer than the outside temperature. Plan accordingly - wear layers, perhaps a cushion to sit on, or buy a toasty beverage at the Cafe.
