SOLD OUT - Willow Tray

  • Field and Forest Crafts Classroom 1608 Northeast 179th Street Shoreline, Washington, 98155 United States (map)

Come learn a new basketry skill - tension weaving. These trivets, trays, or wall art, can be made with both rehydrated and fresh materials giving you lots of flexibility to create a one-of-kind creation. We’ll learn to make a woven wreath with long slender flexible willow rods, add dried willow ribs, weave in our colorful pattern, and even add handles if you like!

Minimum age: 14 with accompanying paid adult.

Each student will make one tray (approx. 12 inches in diameter) and take home one additional woven wreath for a future project.

Class registration is NON-REFUNDABLE. However, if you want to sell or give your spot to a friend, I’m happy to welcome someone else in your place. Due to the nature of the projects (materials/soaking, etc) and the small class sizes, I’m unable to support refunds or credits.

Price: $75
