About your presenters:

Alana & Michael founded Willamette Willows 6 years ago on a 50 acre farm at the southern tip of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Jumping in to willow whole-heartedly, they have volunteered in harvesting and maintaining the plot of the Columbia Basin Basketry Guild in Forest Grove, and attended many willow weaving classes and events, including Tear Up Willow & Fibre Fest in Staffordshire, England in the summer of 2024. On this trip, they spent time learning and comparing notes with Jack Musgrove at Musgrove Willows, one of the largest and oldest commercial willow operations in the UK, with approximately 400 acres of willow in production. Willamette Willows has installed and maintained willow structures for Champoeg State Park in Oregon, local schools and businesses, and private residences, and have also provided materials and guidance for many DIY projects.

Seating is first come, first serve.
